CSRT Student Committee Meeting March 25th at 7pm
Greetings Everyone!!!
The CSRT Student Committee would like to invite you to their free seminar on Monday, March 25th at 7 pm to enjoy the “RA 101 Synopsis". Please join us and our guest speaker: Shellie Pike, MSRS, RRA, RT(R)(CT) , for a fascinating talk. This lecture will provide information about the radiologist assistant profession. It will give an overview of the educational requirements, available programs, requirements to the ARRT R.R.A. exam, job and salary expectations. It will also, discuss the hurdles associated with the radiologist assistant, including MARCA and state licensure.
Speaker: Shellie Pike, MSRS, RRA, RT(R)(CT)
Shellie Pike (she/her) has been working in medical imaging for 22 years. She currently practices as a Radiologist Assistant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She works closely with students and technologists in multiple modalities with the majority of her focus in the fluoroscopy suite, image and practice quality improvement and CT reconstruction. Shellie has served the ASRT in a variety of positions including Practice Standards, RA Curriculum review, and Region 5 Committee of Advocacy. She has also been active in volunteering with ARRT as well as other non-profit organizations. Shellie is currently serving as a member of the ASRT Board as the Vice Speaker of the House of Delegates.
